When I encounter a game which I enjoy that has major design flaws I'd like to see improved or if I think of a game idea that hasn't been done before, I think to myself "Ya know what? I'll make my OWN game...with blackjack...and hookers! Actually, forget the blackjack and hookers!"
My first game to come to fruition is Euler Wars. An amalgamation of many space combat games with ships based on regular polyhedra. Customize your ships to fight against other shapes in an arena with 9 degrees of freedom (normal 6 degrees of freedom plus 3 degrees of rotational freedom relative to the ship).
